In an announcement from the club today, it was reported that two more PSG players tested positive for COvid-19 and remain in isolation.

Covid-19 keeps making a mess inside several clubs such as PSG, this time two more players just tested positive for the virus. The French giants just reported that Marco Verratti and Abdou Diallo came back with a positive PCR test in Friday’s latest round. They have been advised to remain in isolation and stay as such until they manage to defeat the virus. The club wasn’t specific as to whether any of both stars are presenting any symptoms or not.

So far, PSG only confirmed the news through a Tweet on their official account but they are expected to do the same in their other channels. “Marco Verratti y Abdou Diallo have been confirmed positive in today’s Sars-Cov2 PCR test. Therefore, they are expected to respect the confinement and they will be held to the agreed health protocol like everybody else,” wrote the club’s Community Manager.

Which games will they miss?

Both players are set to miss the upcoming games in both Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France for the next 15 days. Unless they turn up with a negative test after 10 days of isolation, they are set to miss the matches against Lorient, Nimes, Olympique Marseille, and Caen for the next 15 days. In other news, Mauricio Pochettino has been spotted in practice today after getting past his isolation process.

There are images of him enjoying practice with the rest of the squad and even getting nutmegged by Angel Di Maria. As of right now, only these two new cases have been confirmed. However, we will keep you posted if any new cases come forth in the next couple of days. We wish Verratti and Diallo a speedy recovery.
