We have breaking news about Mauricio Pochettino’s new job, he will take on a new adventure in England that will start next Monday.

Mauricio Pochettino has been out of a job since he was sacked by Tottenham Hotspur’s Daniel Levy, but he finally has a new occupation. There have been several rumors of a possibility for English clubs taking a chance with the Argentine manager. However, none of them have made the final call and this kept the coach without a job for months.

As the new season starts, Sky Sports Football decided to change Pochettino’s situation by offering him an opening. As of next Monday, he will part of the ‘Monday Night Football’ team next to Jamie Carragher. The former Tottenham boss will have the pleasure of analyzing the Leeds United vs Leicester City match.

It’s only fitting that he gets back on a job to praise one of his biggest professional idols and inspirations. Sky Sport announced Pochettino earlier today as part of the programming for that day.

Pochettino sees Bielsa as a father figure.

Ahead of this match, Sky Sports recalls Pochettino’s opinion on Marcelo Bielsa. Keep in mind the Leeds manager coached Mauricio in the Argentina National Team: “Marcelo is one of the best managers in the world,” said Pochettino about his mentor. He is like my father in both ways because he’s 60 years old so he can be my father and he is also like my football father.

“We are a generation of coaches who were his disciples. How he feels football, the passion he has for football, I think we all took that from him. It’s a pleasure to see him, to greet him, and to play against his teams is always a beautiful challenge.

“For me, he’s a person I will always admire. People call him ‘El Loco Bielsa’, but for me, he is not crazy at all. For me, he’s a genius. A person with charisma and a personality very different from us normal coaches, and that’s what makes him special.”
