After a major Serie A game unplayed, players wait to receive the final verdict as the Disciplinary Commission displays an on-going result.

The result of the Serie A fixture Juventus-Napoli is under on-going investigation according to Football Italia. Whereas, Ciro Immobile and Stefano Sensi received a one-match ban for their red cards.

The Disciplinary Commission delivered its findings for the game week 3 matches. Consequently, due to noticeable absentees, the Juventus-Napoli game is still under investigation.

The battle between the clubs did not take place as the Napoli team decided not to travel to Turin. As the club received an order to not fly because of the COVID-19 outbreak by the ASL Health Authority.

The ASL did not follow the existing rules. And thus, Juventus and Serie A did not feel right about the situation. Moreover, only two Napoli players tested positive.

Hypothetically, Juve should receive 3 points with a victory by default. Though, the result indicates as “sub judice”, meaning the case is still pending and under scrutiny.

In the meantime, Lazio striker Immobile and Inter midfielder Sensi both received a one-match ban. They will also pay a fine of €10,000 for their red cards during the game.

Both exited the field for foul reactions against Arturo Vidal and Patric, respectively.

While the Disciplinary Commission stated that it will not any action against Riccardo Marchizza. The Spezia player conducted a violent foul on Inter Milan’s Alexis Saelemaekers. This is because VAR considered the action unworthy of any analysis.
