After a fresh El Clasico victory, we need to take a look at Zinedine Zidane’s fatherhood against FC Barcelona at Camp Nou stadium.

Zidane just won another match at Camp Nou against FC Barcelona since he started coaching Real Madrid in 2016. When he first arrived as the new manager, ‘Zizou’ took Rafael Benitez’s spot in the hot seat. The Spanish manager might’ve had a fantastic CV when he took the job but he didn’t understand how to coach the biggest club in football history.

Zidane is a former Real Madrid star, he knows the club in an intimate manner that perhaps nobody else does. The Frenchman also has a unique position to motivate the biggest ballers in the world of football because he is already considered one of the all-time greats.

We all talk about the good fortune Zidane has throughout his career and his fortune is forever linked to Camp Nou Stadium. Los Blancos’ coach has a record that was being brutally overlooked ahead of today’s match and he confirmed today after a fresh victory.

Camp Nou is Zidane’s playground.

Since he took control of the squad in 2016, Zinedine Zidane has coached Real Madrid six times at Camp Nou stadium. He was coming from getting two wins and three draws until today. This undefeated run extended to three wins and three draws. That is a total of six matches without a single defeat on FC Barcelona’s pitch.

Even though Zidane might care very little about this record, the Blaugrana supporters sure have it present in their nightmares. We won’t get to see Real Madrid visiting Camp Nou in La Liga this season. However, both Copa del Rey and the Champions League are still a possibility. Should this happen, watching the French boss defend his record will be quite interesting.
