The Bavarians have decided to part ways with the German manager after less than two years.

Bayern Munich have reportedly decided to sack Julian Nagelsmann with immediate effect.

Nagelsmann joined the Bavarians on a five-year deal from RB Leipzig in July 2021. Bayern bosses have repeatedly backed the manager to pursue a long-term project at Bayern. However, it seems that underwhelming results at Bundesliga have convinced the club’s hierarchy to part ways with Nagelsmann.

According to widespread reports in German media, Bayern are on the verge of sacking Nagelsmann.

The shocking decision comes after Bayern reached the Champions League quarterfinals with two brilliant performances against Paris Saint-Germain.

The Bavarians also sit second in the Bundesliga, being only a point below Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern already have a replacement!

Bayern seem to have made their decision while already having an agreement in place with their next manager.

According to Sky Germany, Thomas Tuchel will become Bayern’s next manager after the club confirms Nagelsmann’s exit.

Tuchel has been out of a job since Chelsea sacked him in early September. Given Bayern’s brutal decision over Nagelsmann, it seems that Tuchel should prioritize beating Borussia Dortmund in his side’s first match after the international break.
