Let’s take a look at the player ratings from the FIFA Women’s World Cup match between Brazil and Panama at Hindmarsh Stadium.

On Monday, Brazil and Morocco began their 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup journeys with a match at the Hindmarsh Stadium, in Australia.

Brazil, who reached the last-16 of the 2019 tournament, began their bid for a first World Cup title as heavy favorites. They were up against a Panama team that was playing for the first time in the biggest competition in women’s football.

Unfortunately for Panama, it was a World Cup debut to forget. They were simply no match for their Brazilian opponents. Ary Borges stole the show with a sublime hat-trick, with Beatriz Zaneratto Joao being the other scorer. Their goals resulted in a 4-0 victory for Brazil, moving them two points clear of France and Jamaica at the top of Group F.

With their Group F opener complete, Brazil will now turn their attention to Saturday. They’ll play France at the Suncorp Stadium in Milton, Australia. Panama will also be in action on that day against Jamaica in Perth.
