The hosts haven’t won a game since April 30, and we don’t believe they can make enough goalscoring chances against their 11th-placed opponents.
On the other hand, Flamengo’s goalscoring output hasn’t slowed down despite their occasional dips in form. The guests will most likely manage to outscore their opponents on Wednesday.
Goals likely on both ends when Fortaleza take on Goias
Fortaleza come into the game on the back of their incredible win over Flamengo last weekend. The game perfectly showcased Fortaleza’s improved attacking line as they dominated most of the second half.
On Thursday, the bottom-of-the-table side will face Avai, who have conceded at least once in all of their last three games. We expect them to give away enough opportunities against their in-form opponents.
However, Goias’ recent attacking stats in Serie A convince us they will also find enough chances to score in the upcoming game.
