The Blues restarted their Premier League campaign with an underwhelming draw.

Bournemouth held Chelsea to a goalless draw in their Premier League game on Sunday. The Blues failed to claim their second victory of the season at the Vitality Stadium.

What happened?

Both sides created a host of serious chances throughout the first half. The hosts nearly got the opener through Dango Ouattara, but Robert Sanchez kept the ball out with an impressive save. Later on, Neto’s heroics prevented Conor Gallagher from breaking the deadlock for Chelsea.

The Blues tried to establish their dominance after the break, but Bournemouth still made some brilliant opportunities through Dominic Solanke. Chelsea increased the pressure on the hosts in the final minutes, but another wonderful reflex from Neto stopped Cole Palmer’s late attempt to score the opener.
