After so much insisting, reports confirm Borussia Dortmund already has a price-tag on Erling Haaland should they decide to sell him.
Erling Haaland remains one of Borussia Dortmund’s greatest assets for the upcoming transfer windows. The Norwegian striker has grown exponentially to levels not even his current club suspected. Members of the media are already using him as the other side of a new world-class rivalry with Kylian Mbappe. It is obvious his price-tag should be elevated but we didn’t have a number until today.
A recent report confirms that the German squad is forced to sell at least one of their great players in order to cover the pandemic expenses. All football clubs in the world were hit by the crisis and they all need to make decisions in order to preserve stability. Who could leave Dortmund first?
Considering the level of importance both players have for world football, letting any of them leave is a difficult decision for the club. However, Erling Haaland has better scoring numbers than Sancho does. The Englishman does have better playmaking stats but the frontman is Erling without question. If Dortmund makes the decision to sell one of both players, they will likely opt to allow Sancho to leave.
But the story doesn’t end there because Dortmund’s history of accepting major offers precedes them. In the past, they never hesitated when a major club came after some of their stars. La Sexta reports that if Real Madrid or Barcelona come to sign Haaland, he would cost at least €150 million. A fitting price-tag for one of the most prolific strikers in the world right now.
