Let’s take a look at the Bundesliga encounter between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. We have all the Player Ratings.
Bayern Munich brushed aside Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker to go move on to the top position in Bundesliga. We all witnessed two of the deadliest teams in Germany battle for the three points. However, the treble winners showed great determination to beat the team in Black and Yellow by 3-2 on Saturday.
The game came to life right from the beginning with numerous missed opportunities. Unfortunately, Bayern lost their key man Joshua Kimmich to injury before halftime.
The goalless scoreboard was broken just before the halftime whistle by Dortmund’s resilient side. Raphael Guerreiro teed up a brilliant ball in and veteran Marco Reus directed the speeding ball to take the lead with a clinical finish.
But the Bavarians refused to go to the dressing room with one goal behind. In the injury time, an exceptional freekick routine from the training ground allowed David Alaba to level things up for Bayern.
Further, on the 48th minute-mark, a luscious cross from Lucas Hernandez was guided home by Robert Lewandowski past Roman Burki. With this goal, the Poland international now has 19 strikes against his former club Dortmund.
Leroy Sane then came off the bench to stretch the scoreline 10 minutes before the full-time. The German received a through-ball from Lewandowski and cleverly slotted it for the third goal for Bayern.
To end things in the Bundesliga fashion, Erling Haaland ran around Manuel Neuer to pull one back for BVB.
