Another international record is in Ronaldo’s sights and the Juventus ace is expected to continue his goal-laden run of form against Croatia.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in scintillating form for club and country since the start of the season. Six goals in four Serie A games proves his worth for Juventus, but it’s with Portugal where his stats skyrocket.

The 35-year-old has scored 17 goals in his last 13 appearances for Portugal in all competitions and will be eager to add more to his account.

Fernando Santos’ side may be done and dusted in the Nations League following a frustrating defeat to France last weekend, but Ronaldo has some unfinished business.

Ali Daei’s record as the all-time record international goalscorer in men’s football is within his sights. He is just seven goals shy of the Iranian legend’s record tally of 109 goals. And if anybody in the Portuguese camp is going to bounce back and haunt Croatia, then it’s Ronaldo.

Betfair has the five-time Ballon d’Or winner priced at 1.60 to score at any time during the game and at 5.5 to bang home two or more goals.
