Let’s take a look at the Serie A fixture between Benevento and Juventus at Stadio Ciro Vigorito. We have all the player ratings.

With a midweek Champions League triumph fresh on their mind Juventus traveled to Campania to face Benevento in Serie A. The three points in this domestic fixture would put pressure on their fellow rivals AC Milan, Roma, Sassuolo and Inter Milan. However, in the absence of the Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, it was a difficult task for Andrea Pirlo.

So, without Ronaldo, the final-third was handed out to Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. Benevento stood in the mid-table and hoped to shock the visitors with the home advantage. But with 21 minutes on the clock, Morata scored the opening goal for Bianconeri. It was the 23-year-old Federico Chiesa who provided a long ball to the Spaniard, who slotted the ball past Lorenzo Montipo. But, in spite of less control of the game, Benevento looked quite strong against a fearsome attacking reputation of Juve.

Letizia scores a beauty to deny Juve from the three points.

Someone had to steal the show in the absence of Cristiano, and one of Benevento’s players took the responsibility. The left-back from Filippo Inzaghi’s side scored a delicious volley to equalize things against the dangerous-looking Turin side. In a conflict to clear the ball out of the box, the visitors offered Gaetano Letizia the opportunity of a lifetime.

With the second half nearly to an end, Morata received a red card which makes things difficult for Juventus. Though, Pirlo will receive a boost with Ronaldo back in action for the next home game against Torino in the domestic league. Before that, they will welcome Dynamo Kyiv for their Champions League clash in the midweek. Whereas, Benevento will fly to Parma for their away fixture in Serie A.
