Franz Beckenbauer has warned Bayern to beware of PSG in the Champions League final as the French side have no real ‘weakness’.

Bayern great Franz Beckenbauer warns his former side they will have to be at their best to be victorious over PSG.

Bayern Munich have been nothing but dominant this season. They have shown that on the domestic scene and on the continental front as well.

The biggest highlight to the above was perhaps their 8-2 demolition of Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.

From start to finish, the Catalan giants were outplayed and Bayern even had opportunities to score even more than eight. However, their toughest test might come on Sunday in the finals.

Charlie Nicholas already tipped PSG to go all the way and beat their German opponents to the trophy.

On the other hand, Beckenbauer thinks it’s a 50-50 game but warns Bayern of a side with few mistakes.

“I’ve watched PSG’s games, they’re one heck of a team. I can’t find any weak points in the team and I expect them to vary their playing style,” he explained on the Bundesliga champions’ official website.

“It’ll be the most difficult game of this Champions League season. I hope that both teams don’t hold back too much, don’t show each other too much respect and play just as refreshingly and with a joie de vivre like they have done up to now. Then we can expect a wonderful final.”

Ahead of the game, Beckenbauer refused to class Bayern as ‘favourites’.

“It’ll be a match played on equal terms. I’d say it’s 50-50. Sometimes you need a bit of luck. If Bayern get that, they’ll win the game,” he added.

In just about 48 hours from now, the battle for Europe’s biggest club prize will be on. An anxious wait for football fans to see who takes the prize home.
