According to Bayern Munich CEO Karl Heinz Rummenigge, the club’s players wasted no time celebrating after the Barcelona win.
Bayern Munich are all business at the moment. The Bavarian giants are steel faced and ready for who ever gets in their way.
They dispatched Spanish giants Barcelona like they were nothing more than a Sunday league team. According to club legend turned director Rummenigge the players are more focused than anything he has ever seen before.
He reveals when he went into the dressing room after the game, he was expecting celebrations and jubilation. Instead, he found a side already deep in preparation for the next challenge.
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, he reveals all:
“I went to the locker room after the game and I was expecting the guys to be celebrating this great victory.”
“But I saw them there, very calm and focused instead, and ready for the next game.”
The tournament favorites face giant killers Lyon next.
While on paper the French side is a far easier proposition than what they have already dispatched of, they will be well served to keep that level of focus as Rudi Garcia’s side have already beaten Juventus and Manchester City.
