The Bavarians take on Barca as Robert Lewandowski returns to Allianz Arena.

Bayern Munich will host Barcelona in their second Champions League game of the season.

Dayot Upamecano replaces Matthijs de Ligt at the heart of Bayern’s backline, while Jamal Musiala starts ahead of Kingsley Coman upfront.

Bayern vs Barca: official lineup

Barcelona XI: Ter Stegen, Araujo, Kounde, Christensen, Alonso, Gavi, Busquets, Pedri, Raphinha, Lewandowski, Dembele.

Unlike Julian Nagelsmann, Xavi has made several changes to his lineup for Barca’s first UCL game.

Ronaldo Araujo and Marcos Alonso replace Sergi Roberto and Jordi Alba in Barca’s backline.

In midfield, Pedri plays alongside Gavi and Sergio Busquets, who start ahead of Frenkie de Jong and Franck Kessie.

Ansu Fati also starts the game on the bench, with Raphinha taking his spot on Barca’s lineup.

Bayern haven’t lost any of their last 29 home games in the Champions League’s group stage. Let’s see if Barca’s reinforced squad can change end the Bavarians’ run when the two sides meet at Allianz Arena tonight.
