Bayern Munich sought to purchase a player from Chelsea, as the summer transfer window moves further towards the end.
Bayern Munich attempted to persuade Chelsea to release youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi with the help of a loan offer. Though, the German club is ready to purchase the striker in 2021.
According to sources from Goal, the negotiation will potentially be derailed. Because the 19-year-old still has four years left on his agreement with Chelsea.
Even so, Bayern showed signs of reluctancy as they found a chance to bid for their long-term target. Evidently, the German champions missed two opportunities previously, one in the last transfer window and the other during last summer.
Frustration for Hudson-Odoi.
Consequently, Frank Lampard used the English forward only a few times. The frustration for Hudson-Odoi grew as Chelsea brought in new signings such as Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Hakim Ziyech.

“I have a good relationship with them all, speak honestly with them, again that’s one that we’ll broach player by player in the next few days. Once the window shuts every player that will be here will be used within our squad, because it’s a long season and a lot of competitions coming up. And we’ll know more on Monday.”
Hudson-Odoi will stay on hold to start vs Crystal Palace this weekend. Nonetheless, he trained normally with the entire team during the week.
Rudiger transfer saga.
In the meantime, Roma is out of the transfer talk for Antonio Rudiger. The Italy club now expects to buy Chris Smalling from Manchester United.
However, Rudiger is attracted by AC Milan and West Ham. Chelsea looks forward to selling the defender for a good price.
Simultaneously, Inter Milan also bid for the 27-year-old. This is because defender Milan Skriniar will potentially move out of the club.
The saga does not end there, as Tottenham look for a backup option in case they fail to sign Skriniar.
If the right pieces fall into place for Rudiger, he will end up gaining a place for the Euro 2020 teamsheet. Therefore, the German hopes to stay in Europe, even so, the Premier League.
The Hammers are trying to convince the Londoners, whereas Chelsea is denying attempts from Jose Mourinho’s side.
