The Dutch midfielder has emerged as a priority target for Liverpool.
Bayern Munich have reportedly decided to block Ryan Gravenberch’s exit until they find a replacement for the Liverpool-linked midfielder.
Gravenberch’s lack of playing time at Bayern has convinced him to join a new club before the transfer window’s deadline.
Liverpool have already informed Bayern that they will soon submit a formal bid for the Netherlands international. However, a report from Bild claims the move won’t be finalised before Bayern signs a new No.6.
The Bundesliga giants are pushing to complete a move for Fulham’s João Palhinha before the transfer window’s deadline.
Widespread reports in the German media claim the club already has an agreement in place with the Portuguese midfielder. However, they are yet to submit an offer to Fulham, who rejected a £50m bid from West Ham for Palhinha earlier this summer.
Since joining the Cottagers from Sporting Lisbon last year, Palhinha has quickly established a reputation as one of the Premier League’s best-holding midfielders. The Portugal international registered more tackles than any other player in the league last season as Fulham ended up on the tenth spot on the table.
Fulham will play against Manchester City at Etihad on Saturday. Let’s see if a late bid from Bayern will convince the Cottagers to sell the midfielder before the weekend.
