Following a difficult start at Bayern, Tuchel hopes to bolster his squad this summer.

Bayern Munich are reportedly prioritizing moves for Dusan Vlahovic and Declan Rice as Lucas Hernandez’s future remains uncertain.

Robert Lewandowski’s departure last summer didn’t convince the Bavarians to sign an immediate replacement. However, it seems they are now eager to add a reliable striker to their ranks in the upcoming transfer window.

Vlahovic was on Bayern’s radar before his move to Juventus. The Bundesliga champions are now planning to offer the Serbian star a transfer ahead of the new season, with Tuchel reportedly being a big fan of the 23-year-old.

According to Serbian outlet Telegraf, Bayern officials have directly spoken with Vlahovic. Negotiations between Bayern and Juve are also heading in a “positive direction”.

Tuchel has also campaigned hard for signing Rice. The West Ham midfielder has attracted interest from a number of elite Premier League sides. However, according to Kicker, Bayern believe their offer is more attractive than all of other Rice’s suitors, except for Manchester City.

The Citizens, however, could find it hard to reach a personal agreement with Rice as they also have Rodri as a world-class central midfielder.

Bayern will most likely spend most of their summer budget on a new midfielder and a No.9. However, the possible departure of Lucas Hernandez could convince them to sign a new centre-back too.

According to widespread reports in German media, the Frenchman was close to signing a contract renewal with Bayern a few months ago.

But Hernandez’s personal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain in recent weeks has changed things for Bayern. The World Cup winner has reportedly informed the club about his decision to leave. However, Tuchel is determined to keep him in his squad for the next season.
