The German giants made a shock decision to sack Nagelsmann over the weekend.

Sadio Mane reportedly had a furious dressing room row with Julian Nagelsmann after Bayern Munich’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month.

The Senegalese star only played eight minutes when Bayern defeated PSG 2-0 at Allianz Arena. Still struggling to regain his best form after undergoing knee surgery, Mane seems to have grown impatient with his lack of playing time under Nagelsmann.

According to Bild, Mane confronted Nagelsmann in front of the rest of the squad after the PSG game. The German outlet reports Nagelsmann appeared to be intimidated by the former Liverpool star.

Bayern smashed Augsburg at Allianz Arena before losing 2-1 to Leverkusen in their next match. But not many Bayern fans expected that game to be Nagelsmann’s last day in charge of the German champions.

The club reached an agreement with Thomas Tuchel and announced him as their next manager on Monday. One of Tuchel’s priority tasks would be to help a host of out-of-form Bayern players get back on track.

The likes of Mane, Serge Gnabry and Lerory Sane have come under fire for their recent displays in Bayern’s attacking line. Nagelsmann also offered less-than-expected playing time to Mathys Tel and Ryan Gravenberch, who arrived at the club last summer.
