The Bayern Munich forward is linked with a move to Saudi Arabia ahead of the next season.
Bayern Munich have reportedly informed Sadio Mane that they are open to selling him this summer.
Mane’s underwhelming start at Bayern saw him score seven goals in 25 Bundesliga games last season. Following a €41m move from Liverpool, Bayern certainly expected more of the experienced forward.
As the Bundesliga champions continue their pursuit of Harry Kane, it seems they are ready to cash in on Mane.
According to Sky Germany, Bayern will inform Mane that he has no place in Thomas Tuchel’s plans for the next season. Bild claims this conversation has already happened, and Mane is aware of his situation at the club.
Al Ittifaq, who have appointed Steven Gerrard as their new head coach, have shown interest in signing Mane in recent weeks.
According to 90min, Bayern see the Saudi Arabia club as an “ideal landing spot” for Mane as he doesn’t have serious European suitors.
The Bavarians reportedly demand a €20m fee for the forward. However, Al Ittifaq’s reported offer for Riyad Mahrez could mean they have also cooled off their interest in signing Mane ahead of the next campaign.
Bayern will start their pre-season tour in Asia later this month, facing Manchester City and Liverpool in friendly fixtures.
