The Bavarians are spending a busy transfer window under their newly-appointed CEO.
Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Raphael Guerreiro but could be forced to sell Lucas Hernandez this summer.
The Bavarians moved quickly to enter negotiations with Guerreiro before the end of the season. The Portuguese left-back will part ways with Dortmund as a free agent before joining the Bavarians.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern will unveil Guerreiro as their new player next week. The Sky Sports journalist claims the two parties have reached an agreement over a three-year deal.
Guerreiro arrives at Bayern on the back of a fantastic season at Dortmund that saw him register 12 assists in his 27 Bundesliga appearances. Tuchel was reportedly the main driving force behind the 29-year-old’s move to Allianz Arena.
The German manager, however, might have to shift his focus away from new recruitments as Paris Saint-Germain intensify their efforts to sign Hernandez.
The French centre-back was close to extending his contract last season. However, interest from the Parisians has reportedly tempted Hernandez to reconsider his option.
Julian Nagelsmann’s possible appointment as the new PSG manager could play a significant role in persuading Hernandez to move away from Bayern. However, Tuchel is reportedly “fighting” to keep the World Cup winner in his squad for the next season.
