The Bavarians have remained active in the transfer market after signing Harry Kane.

Bayern Munich are reportedly considering moves for Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher.

With Benjamin Pavard being on the verge of completing a move to Inter, Bayern have intensified their efforts to find a replacement for the Frenchman.

Widespread reports in German media have claimed that Chalobah is Bayern’s top target for the position. The German giants have already entered talks with Chelsea over a summer move for the defender.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the two parties are still not close to reaching an agreement over the transfer. The Sky Sports journalist claims Chelsea will only allow Chalobah’s exit on a permanent move. But Bayern have so far only offered a loan deal.

Another Chelsea star, Gallagher, is also linked with a shock move to Allianz Arena before the transfer window deadline. The Bavarians have been searching for a new holding midfielder since the start of the summer transfer window, with Gallagher emerging as their new target.

The 23-year-old has started all three of Chelsea’s Premier League matches this season. According to talkSPORT, it remains “unclear” whether Chelsea would be open to selling the player this summer.

Given Gallagher’s crucial role in the Blues’ midfield line, it would be surprising to see Mauricio Pochettino allow his departure. However, Chalobah remains a strong candidate to seal a move away from Stamford Bridge in the final days of the transfer window.
