Bayern Munich drew 2-2 with Bayer Leverkusen in their Bundesliga game on Saturday. A last-minute equalizer prevented the Bavarians from clinching the home victory.
What happened?
Bayern stunned their opponents with an early goal as Harry Kane converted a corner from Leroy Sane. The Bavarians had several chances to double their lead, but it was Leverkusen who made it 1-1 with a spectacular free kick from Alex Grimaldo.
The hosts started pushing to restore their lead as soon as the second half began. But a host of wonderful saves from Lukas Hradecky prevented Bayern from finding the back of the net.
Bayern thought they had clinched the match-winner when Mathys Tel’s brilliant cutback was smashed into the back of the net by Leon Goretzka in the 86th minute. But a late penalty from Exequiel Palacios made it 2-2 for Leverkusen four minutes into the extra time.

Hradecky pulled off an absolute masterclass of goalkeeping as Leverkusen held Bayern to a 2-2 draw. He made a total of seven saves, preventing the hosts from scoring with his fantastic reflexes.
