Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has provided his decision on the transfer rumour of Erling Haaland.

According to Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, the club is not interested in signing Erling Haaland this summer. The Bavarian’s chief also indicated that they will not bring in another goalscorer as they have Robert Lewandowski.

During the past couple of seasons, Haaland has been advancing to become one of the most wanted strikers in the world. As we all have witnessed, the Norway international has an excellent goalscoring record since his arrival at Borussia Dortmund.

Despite all the puffery, Rummenigge mentioned that he is not aware of the sources of the rumours for Haaland. In addition, the Bayern chief declared that the club will not enter any negotiations to buy the Norwegian.

The Bayern head told Bild: “I don’t know where the rumours have come from. I can only say one thing: we have the world’s best footballer in this position. Robert Lewandowski has a contract until 2023.”

On the other side, Lewandowski has been on the best form of his life for the German champions for some time now. But that being said, Erling Haaland is also considered as one of the best in-form goalscorers at the moment.

The 20-year-old has 21 goals in Bundesliga for his side, whereas the Polish striker has 35 goals in just 25 appearances in 2020-21.
