According to a recent report, FC Barcelona already have their sight set on a Plan B in case Erling Haaland’s signing doesn’t happen.

Erling Haaland is FC Barcelona’s top priority for the summer transfer window, but they also have plans B and C. Joan Laporta recently confirmed that his intention is to convince the Norway international to play for the Catalan club. But getting to that point might not even be inside the realm of possibility for the Blaugranas. Borussia Dortmund already confessed publicly that they wouldn’t accept less than €150 million for their player this summer.

Plus, Barcelona already has stiff competition with Real Madrid or Chelsea going after the player. Also, there is already a general feeling that Haaland might’ve already picked Los Blancos as his new club for next summer. In case things don’t work as Laporta expects, he already has a Plan B and C in motion for the striker option.

One from England and one from Italy.

Let’s talk about Plan B first, shall we? According to Sport, Joan Laporta already started inquiries about Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane. The North London club prefers selling him to other squads in different countries before selling him to a direct title contender. They also seem to have agree on letting him leave this summer if the Spurs don’t win any silverware by the end of the season.

Plan C is Lautaro Martinez, who has been on Barcelona’s radar for more than two years already. Laporta sees the Argentine as another accessible option for the striker’s position in case Haaland doesn’t pan out. But the Harry Kane option is the one that is picking up more steam in recent days. Which of these strikers would work better at FC Barcelona?
