The Polish star has stayed sidelined in Barcelona’s last two games.

Robert Lewandowski will reportedly return to action for Barcelona in their upcoming match against Athletic Bilbao.

A hamstring issue prevented Lewandowski from playing in Barca’s 1-0 El Clasico win last week. The Polish striker was still absent when the Catalans defeated Valencia in La Liga with a similar result.

However, he has participated in full team training with Barcelona since then.

According to SPORT, Lewandowski is fit to start against Bilbao on Sunday. The Spanish outlet claims the former Bayern Munich star could even imagine playing the full 90 minutes in the La Liga clash.

Barcelona have stayed consistent with their narrow victories in recent weeks. But their attacking performances have highlighted the absence of Lewandowsky and Ousmane Dembele.

Another key player who could make his comeback against Bilbao is Pedri. According to AS, the young midfielder could come off the bench at San Mames.

Dembele, on the other hand, could stay out until Barca’s league clash against Elche on April 1. The Frenchman’s slowly recovery in recent weeks has cast doubts over his chances of playing against Real Madrid in the second leg of their Copa del Rey tie.
