Fati finds the net on his return from injury as the Blaugrana get back to winning ways after a three-game winless streak.

FC Barcelona might not have taken to the pitch with the highest of morale for the La Liga fixture on Sunday given their lackluster performances in the past few games but that didn’t prevent them from overpowering Levante.

Barcelona were without Ronald Koeman, who was handed a two-match touchline ban as a punishment for arguing with the officials in the draw against Cadiz. However, his absence hardly had any negative impact on his team’s performance as it was all too easy for the Catalan giants.

Memphis Depay opened the scoring just six minutes after kick-off. The referee pointed straight to the spot when Depay was brought down in the box, and the Dutch forward sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to score his second goal of the season.

Depay’s compatriot Luuk de Jong doubled his side’s advantage not too long after, latching onto a great through ball by Sergino Dest and slotting it into the bottom left corner of the net.

Ansu Fati, who returned to action after 322 days following recovering from a serious knee injury, delivered the final blow to Levante. Barca’s new no. 10 struck a low yet powerful shot from the edge of the box that flew into the net.
