Ronald Koeman’s side will be determined to bounce back from their Champions League disappointment against the relegation contenders.
FC Barcelona get into a rather undemanding fixture upon turning their attention back to La Liga as they face SD Huesca on Monday.
The Catalan giants remain title hopefuls. They currently sit third but could replace bitter rivals Real Madrid at second and cut the deficit against Atletico Madrid to just four points if they win the game in hand tonight.
The Azulgranas, meanwhile, are facing great hardships. They are rock-bottom in the league table, having been able to pick up a mere 20 points from their 20 games so far.
Barcelona vs Huesca Form:
Barcelona’s last defeat in the league dates back to the start of December. They have been on a superb unbeaten run since then, winning 12 and drawing four of their games.
Also, they have been strong in both attack and defense lately, having scored 11 goals and recorded four clean sheets in their previous five games across all competitions.
Despite that, they will not exactly go into the game with sky-high morale as the Blaugrana were dumped out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage following a 5-2 aggregate loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
Huesca, on the other hand, have picked up just four points in their previous three league matches. They have managed only two wins in their last 14 matches across all competitions.
The relegation-threatened side are struggling to cope up with the demands of La Liga and will have to massively step up their game during this business end of the season in order to stay afloat.
Barcelona vs Huesca Head-to-head:
Barca are yet to suffer defeat against their upcoming opponent in an official match.
They narrowly came out on top in the reverse fixture in January, with Frenkie de Jong proving to be the difference between the two sides.
Barcelona vs Huesca Team News:
The hosts have a number of key players out injured: Gerard Pique (knee), Sergi Roberto (thigh), Philippe Coutinho (knee), Ansu Fati (knee). Ronald Araujo, meanwhile, is back in training and could return to the line-up.
As for the visitors, they will be without Sandro Ramirez, Gaston Silva, Pedro Mosquera, and Antonio Valera.
