During the La Liga clash against Celta Vigo, the Barcelona star sustained another setback ahead of the international break next week.
Barcelona face the prospect of losing young star Ansu Fati to another injury as the teenager limped off the field during Saturday’s La Liga clash against Celta Vigo.
Before this incident, the 19-year-old has gone through serious rehabilitation to recover from a knee issue during this season.
It was a perfect first half for the Catalan side during today’s game, but the end brought bad news for Fati. Now, the youngster is in the danger to sit out in the medical room for more time.
The Guinea-Bissau born star was chasing a lofted pass and found himself in an uncomfortable situation having pulled up his hamstring.
Immediately, Fati signalled the medical team on the sidelines and was substituted in the 43rd minute. In addition to this, Barca also face another problem as Eric Garcia was also taken off the pitch at the same time.
This can reasonably be a matter of worry for Luis Enrique though, with important World Cup qualifying fixtures for Spain next week.
They will meet Greece and Sweden with the possibility of playing without Barcelona’s Ansu Fati.
