The iconic 99,000-seater Spotify Camp Nou stadium and its surrounding area completely will be completely renovated.
Barcelona have successfully gathered almost €1.5 billion to bring their Spotify Camp Nou stadium up-to-date and create an entirely new, modern environment for fans.
With 20 different investors coming together, Barcelona’s budget is secured. The club has stressed that none of its assets were used nor was a mortgage taken out.

“[The money is re-payable] in different installments to be paid progressively at five, seven, nine, 20 and 24 years, with a flexible structure, including a grace period,” a statement from Barcelona on Monday.
“The club will start to repay the operation once work has been completed on the stadium, using income generated by Camp Nou.”
JP Morgan, DLA Piper, Goldman Sachs, JLL, Perez-Llorca, Key Capital Partners, Legends, and IPG 360 are among the investors.
Barcelona began redeveloping Camp Nou during last year’s World Cup break on an upper tier behind a goalpost, which can seat up to 5,000 spectators.
The process will accelerate once the 2022/23 campaign has ended. For next season, Barcelona will play their home games at the Olympic Stadium. The 56,000-capacity venue is located in the Montjuic area of the city.
The LaLiga leaders plan to return to Camp Nou for the 2024/25 season.
