A player who was already getting comfortable in a starring role at the club but suffered a setback. We are talking about Uruguay international, Ronald Araujo. The young South American defender has been one of Ronald Koeman’s most trusted players throughout the entire season. When he had to take a step back to recover, the squad really suffered his absence but he finally returns.
After many physical tests and the doctors’ advice, Araujo returns to a call-up list after weeks out of the game. He comes back in due time for a crucial part of the season where they face Sevilla twice and PSG in the Champions League. The first major test for them will come on Saturday in La Liga activity. A victory could be a starting point to a comeback in all competitions. However, this could also go in the complete opposite way.
