The Catalans will have one of their best players back in the squad for the upcoming game.

Barcelona have announced Ansu Fati has returned from injury ahead of their La Liga game against Mallorca.

The Spanish star has spent another injury-riddled season at Camp Nou, missing most of Barca’s game with a hamstring issue.

The 19-year-old, who has spent the last three months out of action, is now on the verge of returning to the pitch.

Fati’s last appearance for Barca came in a La Liga match against Athletic Bilbao on January 20. The Spaniard played for only 35 minutes before limping off the pitch and heading for another spell on the sidelines.

The club decided against sending Fati under the knife once again as he has already undergone several injuries. The club hopes the slow recovery from his latest injury will decrease the possibility of another injury setback for the midfielder.

Fati has the chance to play his first game for the Catalans under Xavi Hernandez. With all the traffic in Barca’s midfield, let’s see if the teenager can reclaim his spot in the team’s starting lineup.
