Ahead of Thursday’s decisive second leg against Eintracht Frankfurt, Barcelona have announced the return of key players.
Gerard Pique, Memphis Depay, and Sergino Dest have made the Barcelona squad to face Eintracht Frankfurt in a Europa League quarter-final second-leg tie.
The trio trained with the first team at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Wednesday. Pique, however, hasn’t got the all-clear yet. The defender suffered a thigh injury during last week’s 1-1 first-leg draw. This sidelined him from the 3-2 win over Levante at the weekend.
“Pique’s participation will depend on his recovery,” said Barca manager Xavi Hernandez in a pre-match press conference. “He is a competitive player. We will assess his availability tomorrow.”
Depay and Dest, on the other hand, have got the green light to return from hamstring injuries. Xavi has said both players could start at Camp Nou on Thursday.

Who is missing?
Ansu Fati continues to make progress on his recovery from a hamstring injury, but a return for this week is too soon for him.
Samuel Umtiti, Moussa Wague, and Sergi Roberto are also out injured for Barcelona. While Dani Alves is ineligible for the Europa League match.
