Barcelona’s iconic stadium will officially be renamed the Spotify Nou Camp next season onwards.

Barcelona’s iconic Nou Camp stadium will officially be renamed the Spotify Nou Camp after the LaLiga giants agreed a deal with the music streaming giants.

This is the first time in the stadium’s 65-year history, the club’s home ground will be rebranded. The deal will also see Spotify’s logo on the front of both the men’s and women’s team shirts next season.

The agreement is set to run for four years, and three of those will also see Spotify’s logo on Barcelona’s training kits.

The entire deal, which includes the title rights for the stadium, is reported to be worth between €60m-€65m.

Barca president Joan Laporte said: “We are very proud to announce a pioneering alliance like this with a world-renowned organization like Spotify.

“This partnership will allow us to continue to bring the Club closer to its fans and make them feel, even more, part of the Barca family through unique experiences, combining two activities such as entertainment and football, making it possible for us to connect with new audiences around the world.

“It is also a union with which we continue to take steps forward in this new era that we have started, and which demonstrates, once again, the innovative character and the constant search of excellence that distinguish Barca and have made it a unique club in the world.”

Barcelona are next up against Galatasaray in the Europa League on Thursday. The first leg of their round-of-16 clash ended in a goalless draw, and Xavi will be hoping for a win to keep alive the hope of winning some silverware this season.
