The Catalans cruised past their opponents in a well-played La Liga clash.
Barcelona defeated Real Valladolid 3-0 in their La Liga game on Sunday. Robert Lewandowski scored twice as Barca claimed their second victory of the season.
Barcelona started the game by quickly developing their dominance over the possession.
Following a few missed chances, Lewandowski smashed the ball home from close range after a brilliant assist from Raphinha.
Valladolid hoped to end the first half with the prospect of possibly returning to the game in the second period.
However, Pedri doubled Barcelona’s lead by converting Ousmane Dembele’s first assist of the night just before the half-time whistle.
The Frenchman provided another incredible assist in the second period, this time finding Lewandowski with a precise through ball.
The Polish star completed his brace by making it 3-0 with a cool finish in the 64th minute. However, Barca didn’t stop attacking as Valladolid’s defence looked completely shattered after the third goal.
Lewandowsky wasn’t able to turn his brace into a hattrick when he smashed the ball into the bar from close range in the 92nd minute.
However, Sergi Roberto was there to nod home the rebound, putting the icing on the cake for Barca’s impressive victory.
The Catalans must face Sevilla at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan in their next league game.
