The Blancos completed a second-half comeback to beat Barcelona in a thrilling match.

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 in their La Liga game on Saturday. Jude Bellingham made another masterclass performance to ensure Blancos’ victory.

What happened?

Barcelona stunned their opponents with an early goal as Ilkay Gundogan made it 1-0 in the sixth minute. Following a defensive mix-up inside Real Madrid’s box, the German midfielder stole the ball and put his side ahead with a precise finish. Real Madrid struggled to mount a comeback as the first half went on, while Barcelona missed two golden chances to increase their lead.

After the break, things got even worse for Real Madrid as Barca doubled down on their pressure through quick runs down both flanks. Joao Cancelo and Gavi missed two more chances to score Barca’s second goal of the night before Jude Bellingham changed the course of the game with a stunning finish.

A half-clearance from Gavi found Bellingham, who rifled it into the corner of the net with an unstoppable strike. The goal motivated the Blancos to push for the match-winner as Barca lost their control over the game.

Real Madrid finally completed their sensational comeback in the 92nd minute, with none other than Bellingham converting Luka Modric’s assist from close range.
