The city-rivals lock horns in a crucial La Liga game at Wanda Metropolitano.

Real Madrid will take on Atletico Madrid as they hope to maintain their perfect start to the new season.

Carlo Ancelotti has made two changes to the Blancos lineup that defeated RB Leipzig 2-0 on Wednesday.

Eder Militao has returned to Real Madrid’s XI to start ahead of Nacho. David Alaba will return to the left-hand side of Real Madrid’s backline while Militao pairs up with Antonio Rudiger down the middle.

In midfield, Ancelotti has decided to replace Eduardo Camavinga with Toni Kroos. The German star will form Blancos’ three-man midfield line alongside Aurelien Tchouameni and Luka Modric.

Despite Karim Benzema’s absence, Ancelotti has refused to start Eden Hazard.

The Blancos will continue playing with Federico Valverde, Rodrygo, and Vinicius Junior in their forward line.
