According to a report, Atletico Madrid are ready to splash the cash as they look to sign Napoli midfielder Allan this summer.

Atletico are ready to spend the required amounts as they look to bring in reinforcements ahead of next season.

High on their list is Napoli midfielder Allan who has been with the Serie A giants since 2015.

However, Los Rojiblancos will have to ward off interest from Everton and PSG to sign the Brazilian.

As per Marca, Everton are also interested in Allan and have even tabled an offer more than €40m. The 29-year-old has a close relationship with Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti. He played under the Italian manager during his stint as Napoli boss.

Asides Everton, PSG are also said to be monitoring the midfielder’s situation.

As per the report, Allan has fallen down the pecking order at Napoli with Gennaro Gattuso preferring other midfield options.

However, the luxury of Champions League football with Atletico next season could see the Spanish sides as favorites to sign the Brazilian.

For Atletico, the capture of Allan will become all the more important if Arsenal-linked Thomas Partey goes on to join the Gunners this summer.

Ultimately, Diego Simeone is only keen on strengthening his side after they fell short once again on continental front.
