The Gunners have already welcomed two new players to fold in the winter transfer window, but it seems their business isn’t over yet.
Mikel Arteta has refused to rule out making another signing before the winter transfer window shuts on Monday night at 11pm (GMT).
The Arsenal manager has welcomed two loan signings in Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard and Brighton goalkeeper Mat Ryan. However, he is keen to sign another left-back to provide cover for Kieran Tierney after Sead Kolasinac joined Schalke on loan.
And while the unpredictable nature of the transfer market means no promises can be made, Arteta won’t rule anything out either.
“The last day of the transfer window is always unpredictable so things can happen,” said Arteta in a pre-match conference ahead of the club’s visit to Wolves on Tuesday.
“They might happen, they might not happen. We are on it.”

Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand, who has five months left on his contract at St Mary’s, and Crystal Palace’s Patrick van Aanholt are both reportedly on Arsenal’s radar.
As for any late loan departures, Arteta added: “We have decided [who could leave on loan today] and we are working on it. You will find out before 11pm.”
One player who may leave on loan is Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Southampton, West Brom, and Leicester City are all reportedly interested in the 23-year-old, who hopes regular football wins him a spot in England’s squad for this summer’s European Championship.
Shkodran Mustafi, Reiss Nelson, and Joe Willock’s futures have also been in doubt recently.
