The Gunners made it back-to-back wins at the weekend by securing a statement triumph at Newcastle United.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has set his sights on the Premier League title, challenging his players to ‘keep digging’ following their impressive 2-0 win against Newcastle.

With Man City just one point ahead with an extra game left to play in the standings, Arsenal still have every chance of lifting the trophy this season.

“We are there, now we want to keep digging. The prize is there, not too far,” Arteta said after Sunday’s victory at St. James’ Park.

“The only thing we can do is keep insisting and don’t turn our backs and lose the focus on something else, be determined every single day. Let’s keep going and see what happens.”

Martin Odegaard’s long-range first-half strike and an own goal from Newcastle’s Fabian Schar sealed the three points for Arsenal on Sunday.
