The Gunners hope to claim the domestic league trophy for the first time since 2004.

Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal have enough quality to win the Premier League title this season.

The former Gunners manager was at the stadium when Arsenal defeated Brighton 4-2 on Saturday. The victory sent the Gunners seven points clear of Manchester City, who had drawn 1-1 against Everton earlier.

Speaking on Arsenal’s title chances, Wenger said: “I think they have all the necessary ingredients, both tactically and mentally. They can go all the way. Because, as you see, they create so many chances. I actually see no weaknesses.”

Wenger singled out Martin Odegaard for praise as he continues his fantastic performances in Arsenal’s midfield.

“He makes decisions quickly, and always optimally. It is remarkable!” the former manager added.

“I like him and the way he makes football look so easy.

“He has developed very well. It’s really amazing. His decisions, he is also a leader in the team. You see that Norway is now getting more top-class players, and I hope they can do well internationally in the years to come.”

Arsenal are preparing to meet Newcastle in one of their most important clashes of the season this Tuesday. The Gunners will then take on Tottenham and Manchester United in their next league games after taking on Oxford United in the FA Cup.
