The Bayern Munich winger is yet to respond to the club’s contract offer ahead of the next season.
Arsenal are reportedly ‘not working’ on a deal to bring back their former player Serge Gnabry to Emirates this summer.
Gnabry left Arsenal to join Werder Bremen on a €5 million deal in 2016. A year later, the German winger went on to secure a move to Bayern, where he won the Champions League in 2020.
Despite enjoying a regular spot in Bayern’s lineup, Gnabry showed signs of inconsistency last season.
The new arrival of Sadio Mane at Bayern has further intensified rumours around Gnabry’s potential departure from Bayern. However, it seems the Gunners are not in the market for their former player.
According to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal are not considering a move for the 26-year-old. The Gunners are reportedly working on other attacking targets, with Gnabry still being undecided over his future.
Bayern have opened talks with Gnabry over a new contract, but the winger is yet to respond to their offer. The club are determined to find a solution for Gnabry’s situation, hoping to avoid a free departure exit summer.
Bayern’s name has also emerged among the clubs interested in signing Cristiano Ronaldo ahead of the next season. A new arrival in Bayern’s crowded attacking line could convince Gnabry to leave Allianz Arena this summer.
