A poor outing from Arsenal against Wolves condemned the Gunners to a third successive home defeat in the Premier League.

Arsenal fell to their third home defeat of the Premier League season after a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at the Emirates on Sunday evening.

The visiting side saw their game plan rocked early on after talisman Raul Jimenez was stretchered off early on following a collision of heads with David Luiz.

That didn’t stop Wolves from getting the opener after Neto fired home in the 27th minute following a rebound from a headed attempt by Dendoncker.

The lead only lasted three minutes as two Brazilians in Willian and Gabriel combined to level matters for Arsenal.

However, a sloppy showing in defence saw Podence capitalize on a loose ball in the box after a good run through the Arsenal half to put Wolves 2-1 up before the break.

The Gunners came out much more aggressive in the second half but were still not effective in front of goal.

The result saw Wolves win their first league game away to Arsenal since 1979.
