West Ham will play without two key players in their upcoming derby against Arsenal.
Lucas Paqueta and Michail Antonio will both miss West Ham’s match against Arsenal this weekend, according to David Moyes.
Paqueta is sidelined due to a calf problem, while Antonio, although back in training after a knee injury, is not yet fit to feature in the game.
“Lucas Paquetá isn’t ready yet,” Moyes told a press conference on Friday. “Michail Antonio has started training but has only trained for two days with the group.
“It’s great having him back, but he’s still off it in terms of match fitness and being available.”
Arsenal look to extend an impressive three-game winning streak after beating Liverpool 3-1 in a dramatic match last weekend. West Ham, on the other hand, have stayed winless since beating the Gunners on December 28.
“We did a great job getting a win at the Emirates and overall we’ve had some good results against them,” Moyes added.
“We’ll have to work hard and play well again when we play them on Sunday.”
