Sunday’s north London derby at the Emirates ended in the favor of the hosts, who have now made it four wins on the bounce.
Arsenal continue on an upward trajectory following an embarrassing start to the Premier League campaign as they sealed an impressive 3-1 victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
The Gunners ripped their hosts to shreds within just the opening 20 minutes of the game as goals from Emile Smith Rowe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Bukayo Saka saw them carry a commanding lead into the break.
The visitors showed improvement in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to put a stubborn opposition backline and an unyielding Aaron Ramsdale into too much trouble. Son Heung-min, though, managed to provide Spurs a lifeline but late on but ultimately they failed to stage a comeback.
The result saw the two local rivals go level on points in the bottom half of the league table, with Arsenal sitting right above 10th-placed Tottenham due to a better goal difference.
