For the first time, Arsenal will wear a white kit at their home stadium for their upcoming FA Cup game against Liverpool.

The Arsenal men’s team will face Liverpool in the FA Cup on Sunday wearing a white kit at the Emirates Stadium.

The women’s team will also wear a white kit during their fourth-round game against Watford in the FA Cup. That match will take place at Meadow Park on January 14.

The reason Arsenal will do this is to support their “No More Red” campaign. The operation launched in 2022. It aims to protect young people in London from violence and knife crime.

The “No More Red” movement has seen Arsenal partner Adidas to invest in safe spaces for playing football. They’ve also helped 83 young people gain experience in the creative industry so far.

The all-white shirts will not be available for purchase, but a community T-shirt will be sold to support the campaign.

This is the third year in a row that Arsenal will drop their traditional red-and-white strip for a white one. In the past, the Gunners had mixed results when playing in their all-white kit in the FA Cup. They lost 1-0 to Nottingham Forest in January 2022, but they did beat Oxford United 3-0 last year.

In their upcoming match against Liverpool, Mikel Arteta’s side will try to recover from two straight defeats.
