Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is reportedly on Arsenal’s radar as the Gunners seek to bolster their attack for next season.

Arsenal have made no bid for Tammy Abraham and have no plans to do so for the time being, according to Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano.

After falling out of favor at Chelsea last season, Abraham’s future is up in the air. The 23-year-old may need to leave in search of regular football, especially as the Blues plan to sign a new top striker.

And Arsenal, a club Abraham supported as a youngster, are reportedly interested in him. Rumors have suggested Chelsea would part with the striker for around £40 million. The London side may even accept a season-long loan deal with an obligation to buy next summer.

“There are a lot of rumors,” Romano said of Abraham’s future on the Don Robbie YouTube Channel.

“First of all, I think Chelsea will wait to have a new striker before selling Abraham.

“I’m told Arsenal’s interest is serious so they like the player and they appreciate the player. They’d like to invest in the player.

“But it’s not true that they’ve made a bid to loan the player with an obligation to buy for £40m.

“Arsenal’s position is they’ve made no bid at the moment. They just want information on the player about the price. They’re waiting to see what happens.”

Premier League clubs West Ham, Aston Villa, and Tottenham have been credited with an interest in Abraham as well.

The six-time England international has managed 30 goals and 12 assists in 82 appearances for Chelsea. He remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2023.
