The Gunners continue their efforts to sign a new forward after failing to bring their main transfer target to Emirates.

Arsenal are reportedly preparing an offer to sign Dusan Vlahovic after missing out on Mikhaylo Mudrik.

The Gunner made three bids to sign the former Shakhtar Donetsk striker. But a late offer from Chelsea saw the 22-year-old join the Blues on a €100m deal.

Mikel Arteta’s men lack enough squad depth in their attacking line after Gabriel Jesus’ injury. The Gunners have continued their march toward the Premier League title since after the World Cup.

But it seems they are not ready to give up on their plans to sign a new striker.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal have started their efforts to sign Vlahovic. The Italian outlet claims Juventus will receive an €80 offer from Arsenal for the Serbian star.

Vlahovic attracted interest from Arsenal before joining Juventus from Fiorentina in January last year. But Juve’s unstable form under Massimiliano Allegri could convince him to change clubs as soon as this winter.

The Bianconeri could ask for “more than €100m” for Vlahovic as they hope to improve their complicated financial situation. However, Arsenal’s plans to sign Declan Rice in the summer might prevent them from accepting Juve’s demand.
