Ahead of a Champions League fixture, Jorginho gave an update on his future at Arsenal.
Jorginho has not discussed a new contract with Arsenal nor thought about one.
The 31-year-old midfielder’s current deal runs out at the end of the season. There is an option to extend it, but it has not been taken up so far.
“I haven’t had any conversations [about a new contract] to be honest,” Jorginho said of his future at a press conference on Monday.
“All I can say is that I feel really good here. I’m really happy at Arsenal.
“I haven’t thought about it to be honest with you.”
Jorginho spoke to the press ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League away game against Sevilla on Tuesday.
The Italy international won the competition with Chelsea in 2021. He’ll hope to use his experience to full effect, having been a regular fixture in the Arsenal team this season.
Jorginho has made nine appearances in all competitions, three as a starter. He even captained the Gunners in last month’s 1-0 Carabao Cup victory over Brentford.
