The World Cup semi-finalists have impressed on the biggest stage, with some talented and notable players in their ranks.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta should sign Morocco midfielders Sofyan Amrabat and Azzedine Ounahi, according to Ray Parlour.
Amrabat and Ounahi have been at the heart of Morocco’s incredible campaign in Qatar this winter, helping the Atlas Lions become the first African and Arab team to reach the World Cup semi-finals.
Now Parlour has suggested the pair could be a good fit for Arsenal as Arteta’s side look to stay ahead in the Premier League title race.
“Ounahi, the No.8, is different class. Would I take him at Arsenal? Definitely!” the ex-Gunners midfielder told talkSPORT.
“With that performance and what I’ve seen of him in this tournament, he’s not fazed by big games, the biggest game for his country maybe ever. He just looked so comfortable, he was always on the half-turn and looking to probe and try to get balls in behind the full-backs.
“Amrabat, he’s a player, too. If I was Arsenal I’d be looking at him. Central midfield, he can get his foot in. A very good player.”
Amrabat plays his club football at Fiorentina and is under contract at the Italian club until June 2024. Ounahi, on the other hand, is in France with Ligue 1 side Angers, with three-and-a-half-years left on his contract.
Arsenal return to action on December 26 for a Boxing Day clash with West Ham United in the Premier League.
